Too Much Love

Welcome! Here I am sharing my third project for Scraps of Darkness. I was playing around with Haunted Kit.

 As the base I used BoBunny Wonderfully Wicked The Daily Curse paper. I applied a random layer of white gesso and whipped spackle. I did some random stamping using black archival ink. Then I had fun with LSG Magicals and Finnabair goodies. I also applied some of Tim Holtz Gothic Remnant Rubs.

  Welcome to my place! Today I´d like to share my twin tags made for Scraps of Darkness. Let me explain a bit of history here. Last month my awesome dt parcel got lost on its way and arrived 3 weeks later. As you know, the  gorgeous Haunted Kit is all about Halloween.

 In a few weeks we´ll be enjoying Xmas. That´s the reason I decided to challenge myself a bit. Make a Xmas project using at least one goodie from Halloween themed products.

This time I went for Tim Holtz Gothic Remnant Rubs.

An Ocean Tale Kit by Scraps of Darkness

Welcome sea lovers. Today stepping out of my comfort zone with these two oversized sea themed tags. Not my cup of tea and quite challenging myself this time. I used the fabulous An Ocean Tale Kit by Scraps of Darkness.

 Full of texture and all shades of teal. Gorgeous colours for any sea projects. From the Main Kit I was playing with Art-|C |Metallic Teal Heavy Body Acrylic paint, Assorted Seashells, Falk Teal Tulle. From the Element Add Ons I used Blue Fern Studios Chipboard Seaside Seashells, Craft Consortium Always & Forever Self-Adhesive Pearls and Finnabair´s Rusty Gears Mechanicals.

February Heirloom Kit From Scraps Of Darkness

  Welcome, crafty peeps! Today I´m sharing my second project from February Heirloom Kit by Scraps Of Darkness. This time I used  the gorgeous Blue Fern Studios Timeless thick papers that are just begging for mixed media treatment. Besides the patterns are out of this world. Here´s my first vintage LO:

I started by applying clear gesso on the paper. Let it dry and next I did some stenciling using the TCW 6x6 Stencil by Rebekah Meier Designs and Finnabair White, gold texture paste. When dry I used Tattered Angels Mists, LSG Magicals to add some colour. I did some random stamping using black Archival Ink. Then I glued on some Finnabair Micro Beads, Mini Art Stones and some Prills.

I cut out the vintage pic of the two little beauties, put some thick cardboard under the photo and glued it on the paper. Then I started to build up the cluster. I used an old lace, a black thread, some Debutante Prima Flowers from January Kit, Always and Forever The Wedding Collection resin flowers, KaiserCraft Coconut Paper Blooms and Jim Holtz Idea-ology Industrious Stickers.

I also added Large Metal Key Charm from Craft Consortium Alwas and Forever, some gems and word stickers. Next I fastened a piece of Brown Sheer Ribbon from May Arts.

I created some pearl drops using Tonis Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops. Lastly I splashed some inks all over the cluster and added a bit more stamping here and there.

 

 

With this LO I´m entering March Challenge at Scrapki-wyzwaniowo that is a key themed.
