Hello, crafty folks. Let me share my first mixed media project from awesome Heirloom February Kit from
Scraps Of Darkness. I have to say this one is really breathtaking. My cup of tea :). Love the super thick papers just waiting for the mixed media treatment. Besides the patterns are coolest ever.
You´ll see the gorgeous kit papers in my next projects. This time I started with an art journal spread. The theme is secrets.
I started by applying a thin layer of white gesso on the pages. Then I covered the pages with fabulous
Tim Holtz Idea-ology Sketchbook tissue tapes from the element add ons . I added some more gesso on it. When dry, I glued on the chippie frames and painted them with white gesso again. I let it dry and sprayed with LSG sprays.
I did some random stamping with black Archival Ink. I glued on
Tim Holtz Idea-ology Industrious Stickers from the main kit. I also attached the
large metal key charm and
metal padlock. Next I sprinkled some microbeads on the chippies and did some final touches.
