The Hell Is Empty

Hello! The post I´m sharing today is quite exceptinonal. Not done for any of DTs. It´s just for me to ventilate my thoughts and angers. You know these days when you meet nasty people that treat you badly and all you can do is just hope that someday they will be punished . Well, I´ve had such day today.

Suddenly a witty quote came into my mind and I knew I  had to do an art journal spread to relieve myself. Here´s the result of my art therapy.

Someday...There´s No Doubt... All The Devils Will Be In Hell. Right Now The Hell Is Empty And Quiet Because The Devils Are All Here.

Wishing you all the best!

Persistent

Welcome! Today I´m sharing my art journal spread that I made as a GD for Scrapki-wyzwaniowo blog and for Art Journal Journey August Challenge Nature´s Wonders. It´s called Persistent. More details are here.

Sometimes you have to spring up in the middle of nowhere. Just like the wild flowers and weeds. Fragile on the inside but strong and persistent to survive in the hostile world.

Ocean Adventure

Welcome again, my crafty folks! Just popped by to share my mixed media album created out of the fabulous Graphic45 papers from An Ocean Tale Kit by Scraps of Darkness.

I´m not an album freak but this time I decided to step out of my comfort zone and make one. Its size is 12cm x 13cm x 6cm. The cover is made of print patterned cloth. Inside there are eight pages, each of them including a 5cm x 5cm pic of my lovely daughties.

As you can see I went rather wild when doing the cover page. I started off with a coat of white gesso. Then I applied metallic modelling paste over a stencil. I used coffee, turquoise, white and gold sprays to achieve  the ocean feel.

Take a look inside:

I kept the inside pages simple because the papers ´ patterns are too busy. A bit of clean and simple look inside and a mixed media madness on the outside :).

Insomniac

Here I am once again today to share a personal ATC swap. Look at this  unique ATC I was given in Orava workshop last weekend. It´s from my talented MM friend Mária Slavkovská (MakaArt). We agreed on the theme 24 Hours Up. Just because we were too mixed media excited to fall asleep at night. Believe me, we tried :).

MakaArt´s blog packed with isnpiration is here.

Thanks for popping by!

Have a nice day and night!

Wishful

Welcome, dear ATC freaks! Today I´d like to share my take on August ArtGrupa ATC Challenge themed NA SKRZYDŁACH MARZEŃ.

I love the theme very much. Full of hope, joy, excitement, surprise and positive attitudes. People having dreams, hopes and wishes get much more of life than it may seem. They´re not afraid do dream and aim high. When being positive and daring, your dreams and wishes are much more likely to come true one day.

Now, spread your wings and fly. Reach for the stars in your heart because your wishes are meant to come true. You have to believe it.

Adventurous Seashore

Hello. Here I am with my second project from fabulous An Ocean Tale Kit by Scraps of Darkness. This time I decided to step away from a classic LO size. I kept the height as usual (30cm) but limited the width a bit to 15cm only and have to say I love it. A brand new look.

I coudn´t resist the vintage mood and again went for something fresh and cut the oval pic into halves. From the main kit I used the Swirl Flourish  Stencil, Art C Heavy Body Acrylic Metallic Paint Tube, Prima flowers and Voyage Beneath The Sea Collection paper from Graphic45

I also used Graphic45 Chipboard, Finnabair´s Rusty Gears Mechanicals, Blue Fern Studios Laser Cut Chippies Seaside Seashells and Alwasy and Forever Self Adhesive Pearls from element-add-ons.

Summer Workshop Orava 2016

Welcome, dear crafty folks. We all know, summer is a perfect God´s invention but there´s even one more enjoyable season than this. Well, in my mind it exists. It´s a creative summer time spent with wonderful artists sharing the same passion.

In August I was honoured to teach at Orava Workshop organized by my lovely friend Janka. Just two words to describe it briefly artsoul nirvana. It was such an art therapy for my soul.

Here are my two works that I was giving a lecture on. The first is a bug canvas but this time the bug isn´t real.

Some close ups:

The second one is a vintage paper bag art journal.

We had a great time by Orava Dam full of art, fun and chatting. I met fabulous ladies from Poland and Slovakia, some of them for the very first time and I have to say it was an enormous pleasure to be there, watch them creating magic and listening to their art experiences and funny jokes. Just like a dream you would never like to end.

My big thanks go to Janka who was the one who made it all happen. An experience never to be forgotten. You can read much more details about the workshop on her blog here.
Hoping to meet and create again in autumn.

Happy summer time!
