Holiday Spirit

Welcome! Today it´s my turn to get your creative juices flowing. So here I am with no art journaling this time. What I made is this whimsical Xmas tag. Just playing with lots of materials and texture. In fact, just using up the bits and pieces found on the corner of my craft table.

By The Light Of The Moon

Welcome! It´s Denisa here with some pinkish and reddish art journaling. Can you feel the magic of the night? This time my spread was inspired by the gorgeous song by Enya.

When the stars are in the skies,
Make a wish then close your eyes.
Are you dreaming,
Angels singing,
Everything is right.
It's the magic of the night.

Far horizons made of snow,
Bring the hopes each child will know.
Someone's dreaming,
Bells are ringing,
Everything is white.
It's the magic of the night.

Good Girl Gone Bad

Welcome! Ready for some grungy art journaling? Here, it is. I´ve been playing with the texture. Just a few layers. Renesans Gesso, gauze and gesso again. No need to add the glue. When applying some liquid paints, you´ll end up with gorgeous patterns. It´s definitely worth trying.

As you can see there are some areas not being covered with the gauze. The reason is simple. I needed some flat space for easy stamping. I used awesome designs from Carabelle Studio.
